Alliora produced for Perrier-Jouët a packaging designed by Vik Muniz

For this “Belle Epoque” limited edition, Perrier-Jouët entrusted the artistic creation to Vik Muniz and Alliora achieved this exceptional set-up box.

This set-up box is made on the basis of a recycled cardboard rigid structure. It comprises a sliding drawer and the lid, all inserted in a transparent sleeve.

The drawer is equipped with thermoformed wedges, flocked with powder pink viscose. The round-designed wedge system reveals the bottle as if suspended in its case. The sleeve in crystal PET is then slid across to protect it. By such gesture, the hummingbird, dear to the artist, symbolically join in – by sets of transparencies – the iconic anemone flowers of the Belle Epoque vintage

A unique work of art for a rare vintage

Besides the fully automatic production, the challenge for Alliora lies in balance, tracking and multiple technical process (various printings, gold decorations, embossing on selected areas, graining process).

Another achievement: the anemones of the Cuvée Belle Epoque. Printed as window stickers, they complete with great precision the decor when the sleeve covers the set-up box. To play between transparency and opacity of the decor, the superimposed printing of an opaque white would have been necessary
