On February 25 – 26, Bobst Bielefeld will hold an open house in its Competence Center in Bielefeld, Germany.
Like at last year’s open house in October, there will be both a print demonstration and speeches on process related topics to update visitors on the latest technological developments.
The live demonstration will be focused on a F&K 20SIX CS model, flagship of the platform based F&K 20SIXseries of CI flexo presses. The model that will be on demonstration features a print width of 1’650 mm (65”), a repeat of 1’200 mm (47.2”), and a speed of 600 m/min (1’970 ft/min). Among the extensive range of equipment on show are F&K smartGPS™, the off-press impression setting system, shaftless winders, a 100% inspection system, a special slitting device, and last but not least an auxiliary system for handling large format cylinders.
The first day of the event (February 25) is targeted at an international audience with all presentations given in English, whereas on February 26 all presentations will be given in German. On both days, the formal agenda is scheduled from 11 a.m. to approximately 6.30 p.m.
