Last years awards saw Champagne Deutz Blanc de Blancs 2010 take the title of ‘The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly’ which we were told led to an increased demand in sales to their UK merchant Gonzalez Byass! This year it could be you! Internationally recognised and respected Champagne & Sparkling Wine author Michael Edwards continues his role with the awards as ‘chairman of judges’. Entries were received from across the world in 2017, 21 different countries in total with trophies and gold medals awarded to many labels from Champagne to Slovenian sparkling wine – The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly Awards is about discovering talented wine makers and amazing tasting sparkling wines, we are not an awards that has judges who pick out the usual big label winners! Last year 36 international wine judges decided the 11 trophy winners and 41 gold medal winning wines – This year we expect more entries and we have dedicated more trophy categories so there is even more ways your wines can win recognition in categories such as Gastronomy, Sea Breeze, Oaky & Toasty, Vintage and more… If you would like to enter this years awards the link is below with an easy to use online form.
