LUXE PACK Monaco cancels 2020 show

Luxury packaging trade show LUXE PACK Monaco has announced that its 2020 event will not go ahead in light of the latest government measures limiting group gatherings and travel restrictions imposed as a result of the pandemic.

The health crisis has left LUXE PACK organizer Idice (part of Infopro Digital Group) with no option but to cancel what would have been its 34th edition. “Due to the health constraints related to the pandemic and given the size and the international scope of the event, we were unfortunately not able to hold an event that met our expectations and lived up to our ambitions this year,” explains show director Fabienne Germond.

While the physical show will not take place, Idice is gearing up for the launch of its first-ever digital platform My LUXE PACK, as announced earlier this month. Open to the public, the platform will showcase the latest in luxury packaging innovations and will highlight the expertise of suppliers from around the world. Launching in November, My LUXE PACK aims to federate the global LUXE PACK community.

LUXE PACK Monaco will return as a physical event next year, from September 27-29 at Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum.

The LUXE PACK 2021 show dates for next year are as follows:

LUXE PACK Shanghai: April 7-8
LUXE PACK Los Angeles: April 20-21
LUXE PACK New York: dates coming soon
Édition Spéciale by LUXE PACK: June 1-2
