The Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli presents its ‘ideal collection’

Continuing its long-term project on collecting, the Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli presents this ‘ideal collection’, comprised of objects selected from Turin-based collections and placed alongside works by Ed Ruscha – a leading contemporary artist linked to the most significant art movements of our time, from pop art to conceptual art to experimental cinema.

ED RUSCHA  MIXMASTER presents Ruscha’s work as a touchstone and a contemporary metaphor for the selected objects, which the artist himself has chosen based on his own research and reflection. Alongside drawings, photographs and often unknown paintings, the exhibition will feature previously unexhibited objects – the fruit of the artist’s search in local collections.
