New grade of uncoated 2 sided kraft carton board which has ISEGA certification

Blue Pelican Agencies have developed a new grade of uncoated 2 sided kraft carton board which has ISEGA certification for direct contact with greasy, fatty food without the need of secondary packaging or extruded lamination
SOKRAFT is a mono product produced from 100% virgin fibres with optional moisture and grease barriers in multiple layers designed to meet the stringent requirements set by ISEGA for direct food contact.
The virgin fibres give the product excellent stiffness properties combined with a high bulk ratio. The grease barriers allow greasy food, pastries, sandwiches etc. to stand directly on the board without any unsightly grease stains appearing on the outside of the carton.
The environment credentials are amazing, high yield – reduces packaging weight, no need for secondary packaging – reduces cost and the impact on the waste system, barriers are degradable and recyclable as a normal piece of carton board and the 2 sides kraft give a natural appearance and looks great when printed.
